Wrap Plastic Film Around Your Windows
Another simple way to reduce drafts and save money on your heating bill is to put plastic film around your windows. Rubber weather sealing is also effective at keep drafts out and can be bought at your local hardware store. Cut just enough of this sealing to fit the dimensions of your windows, and stick them to the frame.
Give Energy Panels a Chance
Energy panels are window insulating panels and are a great option if you do not want to replace your windows right now. These panels look attractive and will help your home retain more heat in the winter. If you don't have experience installing energy panels, you may want to hire a professional to do the job.
